    1. What is a budget draft payment on my mortgage loan?

With Budget Draft Payment (Biweekly Drafting), a borrower is allowed to make half-payments every two weeks and apply these payments as a full monthly mortgage payment once a month. Some borrowers find it easier to break a payment up over paychecks, instead of making one large monthly mortgage payment. You can set up budget drafting in Mortgage Manager. Our How to Enroll in Budget Draft guide walks you through the process.

If you need assistance setting up an automatic loan payment or want us to mail an auto pay form to you, please contact Client Care at 1-800-731-2265 or visit any Old National banking center.

    2. Why am I being asked to verify my identity when logging in to Digital Banking?

If our Digital Banking does not recognize the device you are using to log in, you are asked to verify your identity for the security of your account. There are several common reasons that this happens such as:

      • You recently cleared your browser's cookies
      • You are using a different browser from the one you used previously
      • You knowingly or unknowingly asked to not skip this extra security step
      • You are using your browser in private or incognito mode

After you complete the verification steps of receiving a code by phone call, text message or email, and you enter it to confirm your identity, you can choose Yes, register my private device to avoid repeating the verification process each time.

If you have questions about verification, please call Old National Client Care at 1-800-731-2265.

    3. What types of checks can I deposit through Mobile Deposit?

You can use Mobile Deposit to deposit checks that are payable to you. You cannot use Mobile deposit for the following:

      • Insurance draft checks
      • Checks payable to a person or entity other than you
      • Checks payable to you and another person
      • Checks or items drawn on a financial institution located outside the United States
      • Checks or items dated more than 6 months prior to the date of deposit
      • Checks or items on which a stop payment order has been issued
      • Checks written from an account in which there are insufficient funds
      • Credit card cash advance checks

If you have questions about checks or items that are accepted through Mobile Deposit, please contact Client Care at 1-800-731-2265.

    4. Why am I receiving calls regarding my loan account being past due when I have a grace period?

The grace period on your loan doesn't provide additional time beyond the due date to make a payment. The grace period only provides additional time before a late charge is assessed. If we don't receive your payment by the due date, it is considered late, and you may receive correspondence by phone or mail regarding the status of your payment.

    5. Can I open a checking account online?

We do provide a way to open most checking accounts online. Go to our Compare Checking Accounts page, find the account that best suits your needs and select the Open Account button.

We offer a variety of checking accounts to meet different needs. If you would like to talk to someone about the type of checking that would be best for you, please visit a banking center or call us at 1-800-731-2265.

    6. Can I use ATMs that are not Old National or Allpoint ATMs?

Yes. Your Old National ATM/debit card will work at all ATMs. However, doing so may result in several fees.

      Surcharge fees
Out of network ATMs (ones that are neither Old National nor Allpoint) may assess you a surcharge fee. An ATM surcharge fee is the fee an owner of an ATM charges cardholders from other financial institutions who use their machine. In other words, if you have an Old National debit card and use it at another bank's ATM, that bank may assess a surcharge.

      Foreign fees
For most types of checking accounts, Old National will charge a $2.50 "foreign" ATM fee (on top of any ATM owner surcharge) if you use a non-Old National Bank or non-Allpoint ATM.

To ensure fee-free ATM usage, we recommend always using an Old National or Allpoint ATM when possible. To find an Old National or Allpoint ATM, go to our website locator at oldnational.com/locations. Select the "ATM" and "Allpoint Surcharge-Free ATM" filters. You can also use the locator within our Mobile App to find both Old National and Allpoint ATMs.

    7. How can I find the phone number for a certain Old National branch?

There are several ways to find the direct phone number for an Old National banking center by using our website locator or our Mobile App:

      On the website
Visit oldnational.com/locations to go to our Branch & ATM locator page. Enter the following information into the Search box.

      • To find a specific location, including phone number, enter the address (as much as you know), city and state of the location you are searching for. Select Search.
      • A listing of locations will be provided, and each location will include the direct phone number.

      In the Mobile App

      • Open the App on your device. You do not have to log in. At the bottom of the Login screen, select Locations. You can use the Search at the top of the screen to find a branch or ATM by address, zip code or city.
      • If you are already logged in to the Mobile App, go to More at the bottom right of the screen and then Locations under Contact Us.
      • Tap the map pin for the location you are searching for. Then tap the white box that appears to see the location phone number.

Results of Location searches will be more accurate if you have enabled your mobile device to show your current location.

    8. Is there a way to stop an automatic loan payment if I don't have funds in my account to cover it?

We are not able to stop a single payment, but we can cancel the entire automatic payment service at your request. You can re-establish automatic payments when you are ready.

Requests should be received at least 5 business days prior to the payment due date.

      For mortgage loans:
Requests to cancel automatic payments can be submitted within Online and Mobile Banking using Mortgage Manager. They can also be submitted by completing our Mortgage Loan Auto Pay form and either returning it to a banking center or mailing it to PO Box 3728, Evansville, IN 47736.

      For all other personal loans:
Requests to cancel automatic payments can be submitted by completing our Consumer Loan Auto Pay form and either returning it to a banking center or mailing it to PO Box 3728, Evansville, IN 47736.

Please note that late payment fees may apply if we do not receive your loan payment by the due date.

If you have questions or need assistance, please call Client Care at 1-800-731-2265.

    9. To submit a notice of error or request for information about my loan, do I have to write a letter, or can I instead call Old National or visit a banking center?
